TO THE MOON ELOPEMENT SHOOT

Fly me to the moon baby! We love a good styled shoot, but this one really hit us in our heartstrings. Our couple/models, Daniel and Tim, are two of our closest friends. We had such a blast creating this celestial inspired elopement with retro inspired details, including our Luna Backdrop. Daniel not only modeled, but also is the artist behind Luna’s face and the cloud detail. With the color palette we wanted to go with a moody dark blue with accents of gold and white to create a star like feeling on the dark night sky.

The warehouse venue with the retro moon backdrop really gave it that vintage vibe we we’re going for and celestial details on the invitations, name cards, and table runner really brought the entire style together. We love the playful vibe it brings together and that’s what we love about unique pieces. You can take it and mold it to your style and personality and each time it’s used it will present a completely new look and design.

While we have celestial details throughout, the cake also has the perfect touch of a starry night sky. Swank desserts created the perfect celestial centerpiece by creating a blue cake with flecks of gold to again bring in those starry details to the forefront. While the cake tied in our celestial theme, the florals brought it home with a whimsical crescent design. Charleston Flower Girl created a beautiful half moon installation and gorgeous green and white florals that created such a beautiful contrast to the dark blues and golds.

While we love it when a set design comes together the way we envisioned it, we love it even more when we get to work with real life couples who just happen to be our best friends.
