Let's Get Folksy: Holiday Collection

Its the most wonderful time of the year ! We are so thrilled to be heading into the holiday season. After a year filled with so much turmoil. The holidays are a chance for us to adjust our focus towards gratitude. The holidays will not look the same for most of us. Almost everyone we know has lost something this year. Some of us have lost loved ones, livelihoods, certainty about the future and so much more. This season, however, is about hope and peace and faith that the light will continue to shine.

We’ve felt the burden of this year keenly, the ache for family, for community, for normalcy, alongside all of you. As we began contemplating our Holiday Collection we chose to focus on joy. We wanted to use bright colors and classic vintage design to set the holiday mood in a festive and determined way. The holidays are a time to reflect and be joyful in the face of a coming winter and we decided to chase that feeling however we could. We resolved to be deliberate and perhaps a little obstinate in spreading cheer and fully embracing the season.

The collection is a true labor of love. Many cultures around the world believe that objects can be imbued with the spirit and intent of the person creating them. If that truly is the case than every piece in this handmade, perfectly bespoke collection is saturated with the spirit of love and kindness and a big sprinkle of holiday joy. We hand craft each piece carefully and intentionally. Believe us many iterations get tossed out for not having that 100 percent perfect sparkle ! We’ve poured our hearts and souls into these pieces as both a way to distract from and reflect on the past year. The result is a collection full of magic that encourages you to find whatever meaning you can in the coming month. You may not feel like forcing the holidays this year, but might we suggest opening yourself to the possibly that truer meaning may be found this year in the stories and traditions of the season than ever before.

Our books are also open to custom pieces in case you’d rather mark the holidays in your own way.
